Great questions, Rosario!
At Purdue, our Office of Experiential Education administrative space is located near the Office of the Registrar and academic advising leadership. Often useful, though I wouldn't say it was super intentional. The offices are convenient to a number of areas of campus, and also convenient to parking (which not everyone is!). The main thing that I would say is missing is access to a small conference room.

Greetings experiential community,

I hope the new year is going fantastically well for you.

I'd like to poll for general information on the extent and nature of office and facility space for the administrative element of your experiential programming (not including space for conducting experiential learning such as outdoor learning centers, etc.).

It would be interesting to know -
1. Office space in physical relation to technology or teaching space and whether this is desired
2. Intentional (or unintentional) proximity to other departments (like center for teaching & learning or provost/academic affairs office)
3. Facility resources on your wish list or existing facility resources that you can't do without

So far the EXC2EL Center here at Texas State has been located next to our service-learning program, then moved to First Year Advising wing (made necessary by construction and remodeling at the first site) and the future may hold reassignment to the University Library (which could be really good too).

Please receive best wishes from Texas State University!
